Tarlach and Sonya describe their wedding as a “low key, boutique type of wedding”. They kept their festivities very simple, with muted colours such as taupe and white. Sonya and Tarlach’s theme of simple and classic extended into their wedding day looks. Sonya wore a classic fishtail dress with red lipstick. Tarlach wore a simple navy suit with a cream tie.

At Wrights Anglers Rest, we believe in celebrating love sustainably and we incorporate eco-conscious choices into the overall experience of your special day. It ranges from embracing seasonal produce to sourcing from local suppliers, using solar energy, stylish vintage and upcycled decorations and to adorning our venue delicate dried flowers.

Our head chef Marcin has created a number of lunch dishes to appeal to those who wish to enjoy a break from the city combined with a deliciously satisfying lunch, but who may be time constrained.

A hidden gem, The Anglers Rest, outside of Dublin city with welcoming staff, open fires and rustic meets decadent décor. Located next to Phoenix Park, this spot is a real fave with stylish real wedding couples.

Our star attraction is a true celebration of Irish heritage: Rump of spring Irish lamb. This succulent cut is slow-cooked to perfection, allowing its natural flavours to shine through. We then pair it with seasonal vegetables: tender asparagus, sweet green peas, and the earthy goodness of spring cabbage.

What a wonderful experience we had having our wedding in the Anglers Rest. We fell in love with the place from the moment we walked in. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so lovely, the day itself went without a hitch.
